Taxi Job Rebalance - Was It Applied?

Yes, the problem being that on April 22nd there was an announcement saying the XP and payouts of Taxi were rebalanced. How? ‘Cause as far as I can see, there’s no change. I just timed and calculated an hour’s worth of consistent Taxi driving and I made $1,651 and 3500 XP.

You may not see that as a problem just simply looking at the numbers I’ve laid out. However, let’s use Trucking for this example since it also allows use of different vehicles. Trucking, starting at level 10 you can buy your own truck which is significantly, already, better than the rental truck being able to pull trailers at like 85mph rather than the 45mph the rental does with those trailers. Cool. More levels in Trucking = more trailers = more XP = more trucks = faster trucks = more XP and money.

You start off with the basic Taxi - It can do up to 120mph. You get a van at level 15 which is still somewhat speedy but basic taxi is better. Level 25 you get the SUV which I find is much better. But what do you get with those vehicles? Nothing. Unlike Trucking, Post Op, Garbage, Fishing, Hunting etc… you don’t gain ANY extra anything the higher you go. You take my example of 3500 XP in an hour at level 26 to level 27 and it’s 3500 XP every hour until you hit level 50 (Which is when you’re supposed to have an increase in local speed)

I’m level 36 in Hunting and it takes 7087 XP to get to level 37. I’m level 41 in fishing and it takes 8230 XP to get to level 42. Which roughly means you’d have to spend almost 3 hours a day for 1 level from level 40 to 50 making $1,651 (roughly) per hour.

Another rebalance. As mentioned in the post below, the main problem with taxi is money and XP is based on distance. Which sucks ballz when roughly 85% of your trips are 0.4-1.2 miles each.
