Is your feature related to a problem?: No.
Describe the feature you’d like:
As it sits right now, ALL NPC pickups and drop-offs are in the city. I know money/XP is based off distance and so far, the max distance a driver can take an NPC is like 3 miles depending where you pick them up. Which, isn’t terrible. But those are far and few in between. I would love to see more out of city pickups and drop-offs all over. Harmony, Sandy, Grapeseed, Paleto. This would take a considerable rehaul on Taxi. However, I also propose Taxi NPCs/Levels tie into how Post Op is. The higher your chapter, the more likely you are to have these long distance trips that are worth doing. Heck, I got a trip the one day that was 0.1 mile. Paid $25 and 3xp. Ridiculous in my opinion lol.
I also noticed that the first 3 taxi unlocks are just for sheer convenience and status because they look cooler than the basic taxi you get when starting off. There seems to be absolutely zero purpose in driving them. Like, you get a Limo Taxi but you never pick up multiple NPC passengers for increase pay and or XP? There’s just things about Taxi job that would make it so much more immersive.
I’m not level 50, so I can’t speak on the reduced time for NPC missions or the vehicle that goes with it or the money made involved with picking up more NPCs but right now, driving NPCs around for 30 minutes I’ve made like $800. Meanwhile around the same level in Post Op, 30 minutes in I made almost 5k. I understand that money can be made picking up people in the city, but when the taxi services app never works, no one calls and they get no XP for picking up people.
Alternatives: Make a taxi app for people in the city that gets pickup location and drop-off location before sending the call and have it automatically calculate and give the driver XP and the money for it when completing the task, like an Uber essentially. Pre-pay it.
