shared vehicles and the contents inside when stored

my suggestion is simple i’m not sure if it is intentional or rather a bug, but i am sharing vehicles with someone , i had put my personal belongings into the car prior to storing it back into the garage to prevent and thievery. when i return the the vehicle to retrieve my items everything in the van was gone. i clipped it too and made a ticket to hopefully get compensated, as i’m sure this should not be intentional but rather a bug.

If you are able to share a vehicle garage and house with someone your belongings should remain safe in the vehicle regardless of it being stored away there should be no alternative as this is the only thing that makes sense in order to keep intact the continuity of the story line and roleplay experience

if an alternative were to arise maybe send the items to a bin or collections facility where you can later retrieve your items but not have them completely vanish into thin air
