This is definitely a problem for law abiding players in the city, theres not enough lawyer support for this to be a thing. Theres zero explanation as to why it happens, cops are stuck to the same script, can never find them at the stations and if you do find them they are in the middle of a scene and quite literally tell you to go away or are in a chase. its extremely demotivating to lose thousands of dollars worth of resources that you had in your vehicle without the rp support to even attempt to build a case and potentially come out on top. just stuck with a $2000 bill, all your stuff gone and a car that cant be driven or fixed, also sucks when its a car that was bought with real life money. i could understand if i was a strung out criminal or had multiple felonys on my record that my vehicle could be seized and or taken for rp reasons but when im just a normal guy trying to grind out a rp life the honest way for once, this just makes you want to fly out.

all i will genuinely ask is that you do better then just saying speak to the pd.

    Vehicles are seized no matter what if used in a crime, regardless if the owner is a law-abiding citizen or a violent felon. If the vehicle if used in a crime it will get seized in correspondence with whatever crime it was used in for investigation purposes, just as in real life if a vehicle is stolen and used in a high speed chase the police aren’t going to just allow the owner to come and take the vehicle right after the chase is over, they are going to get it towed and perform an investigation on it. When a vehicle is seized it goes straight to the tow lot and will be available for pick up in either an hour or up to 5 days depending on the crime it was associated with so I’m not sure what you mean by “a car that can’t be driven or fixed.”
