prospecting

i’ve tried prospecting and every time i’ve done it the circle seems like its way bigger then its shown on the map. plus the metal detector seems like it is scuffed or not working . ive wondered the whole area an seems like i cant find anything to dig up . can you have a look into this . i know this is another way to get bobbypins instead of waiting to buy 12 at a time at the hardware stores.
