Penthouse Bug

So I recently purchased a platinum membership and wanted to get the penthouse. I upgraded the penthouse for an additional $20k. I tried to select the Modern theme but it kept saying I was already using it when I wasnt. So I selected the Sharp theme for $50k instead and it worked. Then I came back later and tried to switch it to Modern again for another $50k. This time it worked but I couldn't see my friend so we both left and head popped. When we came back to try again the apartment had reverted to it's original theme. I'm hoping that eventually it can be set back to Modern but if not I would appreciate getting some of my in game money back.
