PD and certain cars
I’ve noticed certain cars used for robberies have more aggressive responses from the police. Now if you are a criminal you are to follow the unwritten 5 minute rule no swaps, no jumps, no blocks. But it’s cool for PD to pit you into spikes before the 5 minute timer is up. It’s a huge double standard. I understand “crims cant always win” but if I have to follow and unwritten rule so should PD <3

I mean, most people don’t even follow that 5 minute rule. On top of that, 75% of crims use broken ass cars that PD cant keep up with and bang it down a straight knowing we cant keep up.

Cops chase the same three cars like we're facing a meta loadout in cod or something. The aggression shown to these vehicles is so our cars can actually compete, cause as of right now you need a perfect heat driver to even have a chance of chasing the vehicles.

So again toss out the fact people worked for there vehicles that are naturally in city and take the fairness away. 5 minutes should apply to both sides

Car balance is genuinely one of the hardest things to get right. Racing has been a great mirror for which cars actually stand out, and that knowledge naturally bleeds into chases.
Take the Mogul. For an average driver, it's a car that gives them a fighting chance to get away or be competitive in races. For PD chasing that driver, it's manageable. But hand that same car to someone who really knows how to drive, who understands how to use a car's strengths and cover its weaknesses, and it becomes something else entirely.
That's the core balancing problem. You can't tune a car around its ceiling without gutting its floor, and you can't tune it around its floor without handing elite drivers something unbeatable.
I will say the Mogul needs to be adjusted, but PD should understand a new meta car will always take its place. Crims will always need a car that the average driver has a chance in, it just needs to be identified when that same car is in the hands of a great driver, it will feel strong but that is working as intended. If the bar for crim cars is always brought down based on those good car + good driver situations, eventually the balance will tip too heavily in the PDs favour and the average driver will never stand a chance. If you can put the best crim driver up against the best heat driver and it stays close, there’s no issue, the system is working. The average patrol car shouldn’t keep up the same way a heat unit car can, otherwise what’s the point of heat.
(as a side note unrelated to this but more for the devs, the mogul in racing is a problem, there will always be a meta car in each class but having it be a tebex car should never be a thing, Pay 2 Win in racing will kill the scene)

As much as “5 minutes” is not written specifically anywhere… you should want to have a fun and somewhat long chase. If you are just using a broken car to get away as fast as you can it could be considered No Intention to Roleplay (NITRP) as you are not wanting to have a fun scene but rather rob a store, take the loot, and get away as quick and easy as possible rather than creating a fun scene for both sides.
Cops increase aggressiveness based on how the criminals are, for example, if a criminal is known to use a Mogul specifically because they know it is one of the best cars to use and it is cops 90% of the time can’t keep up with it, the aggressiveness will be increased because more than likely that individual has no intention to have a good chase. They will literally go for 5 minutes and then try the absolute hardest to get away as soon as that 5 minutes is up.
You should invest effort into your robberies whether its setting up blocks, finding fun routes to take, etc. I don’t know where you are getting the “no blocks” and “no jumps” from, both are completely allowed as long as they are not considered GTA Driving. A normal block is fine but if you have someone on the outside just ramming their car into officers vehicle at like 100mph it would be very reckless and goofy, or if you are taking a jump that has a very high chance of injuring/killing you then you probably shouldn’t do it, but simple jumps and blocks are highly promoted. Swaps are also allowed but again, the whole point of RP is too create a fun scene for both sides with effort involved, from both sides, and it’s hard for cops to give effort when they are constantly going up against people who only want the loot and to get out, which I understand wanting to getaway with the loot, but try to make it fun.
