Owned boats despawning

I have had my boat despawn if i get disconnected while on it if no one else has it rendered in.

Its an aeroboat but i believe it happens with other boats. Not sure if this is a purging behavior. But it can be very aggravating to lose access to my very expensive boat at the beginning of a tsunami. My last few disconnects are timeout disconnects.

I can be driving or even anchored, if im on it physically it seems to get purged. I havnt had it out and not been on it when disconnecting to see if its tied to me. My assumption is that the game purges it?

I would also like to mention that the aeroboat has 4 seats on the model but only two are functional. Not sure if that is intentional.
