Now that racing has been around for a couple weeks and the community has been embracing it well I think there should be some focus on the cars themselves.
There is a massive amount of un-classed cars out there that would be super fun to race in but do to the lack of adjustments made they cap out at speeds well below that of even some local cars.
I want to highlight the boosting cars specifically as I think a good starting point is ensuring each car in each class (at least B class and up) is properly adjusted to match. Boosting creates a whole additional underground level to the car economy for both criminals and racers, it can go so much further and deeper than just a GNE farm. If there is a strong car that can only be obtained via vin scratching people will pay those who can acquire those cars or will grind the activity to get to the point they can get one themselves. Currently since most A class boosts are unclassed there is no real draw to scratch them since the average local car is better across the board and the risk of being pulled over by using it as a daily driver might not be worth it for many. A few cars that i can think of that are unclassed in the A class alone are the SC1, Seven70, Vectre, Jester, Gauntlet Hellfire, and Vesper but i know there is many more.
We also very much need a refresh of cars available at the dealerships. Rather than having 100 cars available permanently it would be nice to have some base cars always there but then a rotation of 10 or so cars every month. This creates another additional layer to the car economy with more limited time cars so once they move out of rotation, people have to go and find players willing to sell them or wait until they come back. It also helps drive more business to these places every month with new stock coming in for people to see.
I support tebex cars as i understand the business side of running a server and having to pay for many aspects, but it can be disheartening seeing new fancy cars with top notch customizations being added every week or two to the tebex shop and no love being added to the dealerships or boosting rotations for the car enthusiast looking to spend their hard earned in city money on.
Cheers
