Car Balancing

One thing has become painfully obvious within the race scene. New racers come to the scene asking about what cars they should get or target to save up for to be competitive in the race scene. And after being asked a few times, its not a great look for the car economy to have to tell them there is really only 2 options to choose from within the dealerships in the city. A 120k GB200 (which everyone including cops already hate) or a 300k GTS. Most will op for the cheaper car as money is a slow grind. This creates an undiversified racing scene where people feel they need to have a specific car to be competitive rather than A class cars all being close enough with their own pros and cons to be used.

And to be clear, its not that the GB200 is miles ahead of the rest, its twitchy and loves to whip the back end out from under you. We have tested over 45 A class cars for the racing scene and the GB was around the #10 mark with only a second or two separating it from the ones in front (with an exception to the top 3 which are blacklisted in racing) and the next 5 behind it. The issue is currently with what are available in city to buy at dealerships, only it and the GTS are in that competitive window due to the very big range of A class car performance and lack of A class car options in general. There is 1 maybe 2 options in the boosting rotation that are viable, but there is heavy risk and much, much more grinding involved to obtain them vs saving up 120k for a GB200. The rest of the boost cars are paper weights at best due to being unclassed (I’ve had 4 sitting in my garage for months waiting to be classed properly)

What im suggesting is that rotations and new cars added are tuned with more of a purpose behind them to better align them with performance of said class of cars, as well as a tuning pass on the current ones in city (especially all of the UNCLASSED boost cars PLEASE!!!) Not every car needs to be a top performer, but they should at least be comparable if they are in the same class.
