This only happens for people who have more than one WL job, but it is possible to charge somebody for one job, and if you’re accidentally clocked into another job it’ll charge into the other job’s account.
In this case I wasn’t clocked into ANY jobs, however the most recent job I had clocked into was PDM. When I sold some lures, I forgot to clock in and charged the customer through the employment app by clicking on “Watersport Dealership” and then going to the three dots and clicking “charge” and then invoicing the customer as normal. This ended up doing something weird…
It logged the invoice on the Marina’s society fund, for $25,000. However the account balance was still empty. When I opened a ticket, a staff member checked the logs and said the invoice went to PDM. I then looked at the PDM society fund, and sure enough it had about $25,000 more than it should’ve.
This is a major issue because if an employee has 2-3 WL jobs in the city and invoices for one job, but isn’t clocked into the job at the time of the invoice, it can send the money to some other business’ society fund. Fortunately in this case, I was the idiot and had access to both funds and could catch the issue.
There should be some sort of preventative measure in place to make sure this doesn’t happen, or maybe just having it favor whatever app you charge it through instead of where you’re clocked in.
